Community Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the online community across social media platforms, forums, and other digital channels to foster meaningful relationships and discussions.
  • Monitor and respond to community inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive brand presence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and nurture the community, creating a sense of loyalty and engagement among users.
  • Create, schedule, and manage content that aligns with the community’s interests and the company’s goals, driving engagement and conversation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer support) to relay community feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Organize and participate in community-building events, such as webinars, live chats, and virtual meetups, to encourage interaction and participation.
  • Analyze community metrics and provide regular reports on engagement, growth, and sentiment.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in community management, applying new strategies to improve engagement and retention.
  • Manage online reputation by moderating content and addressing any issues or concerns in a proactive and positive manner.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in community management or a related role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Experience in managing social media platforms, forums, and other community-driven sites (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Discord).
  • Ability to create compelling content that drives conversation and engagement.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, able to manage multiple community platforms and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with community management tools and analytics platforms.
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to community building, with a passion for fostering meaningful connections.
  • Experience with events (both virtual and physical) for community engagement is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
